CBD (cannabidiol) is one of over 60 compounds (called cannabinoids) found within the cannabis plant. Unlike the most widely known cannabinoid, THC, CBD is non-psychoactive, and it has a wide range of health benefits including anti-inflammatory, anti-carcinogen, anti-oxidant, and anti-depressant- to name a few.
FAQ's
Is this weed? What is the difference between CBD (or hemp) and weed?
No. They are both part of the cannabis family. Depending on how the plant is bred dictates whether it is considered marijuana or hemp. Marijuana is bred with higher levels of THC, which makes it psychoactive, and usually lower levels of CBD. Hemp is a cross breed of the plant to have higher CBD and lower THC.
Do I need a card to purchase?
No. Anyone over the age of 18 years old can purchase.
Will this get me high?
No. All of our products are non-psychoactive. The amount of THC (0.3%) is not enough to create any psychoactive effects, but it is just enough to activate the CBD.
What does it feel like?
It’s very individual from person to person, but a general feeling of mind & body relaxation, stress relief, calmness, and you can customize your experience based on how much you take and which product you use.
How much do I take?
A good starting amount is anywhere from 15mg to 40mg for adults. Everyone’s tolerance is different, so we suggest starting with a low serving for 3 days and see how you feel then adjust accordingly.
How long does it take to feel it?
It’s different for everybody, and it depends on the method in which you ingest it. When you smoke CBD, you feel it almost immediately. When you use a sub-lingual concentrate (oil or isolate) it could take anywhere from 5-20 minutes. Edibles can take up to an hour to feel the effects. A topical lotion will take anywhere from 5-20 minutes to start feeling the effects.
How long will it last in my system?
This depends on the serving size, bio-individuality and method in which you ingest it.
Does it show up on a drug test?
Most drug tests do not test for CBD, only THC. Since our products have such a low amount of THC (0.3%), it should NOT show up on a drug test. You would have to ingest a LOT of full-spectrum products for it to show up on a test. We have some THC-free products that might be a good option if you are worried. But we cannot ensure any results.
How do they get the THC out?
Hemp has naturally high levels of CBD. They then cross-breed the plant to have lower THC and higher CBD.
What do you recommend starting with? What’s the most effective way to take it?
It depends on what you are trying to achieve and personal preference. We recommend starting with the tincture because it is the most concentrated form and acts the most efficiently in your body. You can also more accurately experiment with serving size to customize your experience. Other ways of ingesting are via smoking, edibles, or topically. We will also carry suppositories soon. We recommend ingesting a little bit every day to allow it to build up in your system. Some people like to feel the immediate effects, so they prefer to smoke the flower/vape- the disposable vape pens are also great for targeting specific conditions. Edibles/honey/drinks are good for convenience (at work, etc.) and travel and they last the longest in your system. It is important to note that all of these options affect people differently so it’s helpful to try a few different methods to see what works best for you for what you are trying to achieve.

Is it safe for my child to take CBD?
We are not doctors so this is a tricky topic for us to advise on. I would suggest speaking with their pediatrician but be aware that many doctors may not be open to the healing benefits of CBD. There are many reported cases of children with illnesses taking CBD and it helping them IMMENSELY. Depending on the age of the child, 5-15mg would be a good starting serving. It has been used for ADHD, illness/immune system/allergy recovery, asthma, digestive issues, anxiety, depression, and much more.
What if I take too much? Can I overdose on CBD?
You can NOT overdose on CBD! The worst that could happen if you take too much is you may feel drowsy. The reason why is that there are not enough receptors in the brain stem.
Can I travel with this?
Domestically, yes (though we wouldn’t suggest traveling with the flower). Internationally, they would have to check the laws of the country they are traveling to.
